Currently, he spearheads strategic communications for the largest water and wastewater program in the United States, showcasing his expertise in managing complex, high-stakes initiatives.

Throughout his distinguished career, Mr. Cunningham has provided strategic counsel to some of America’s largest corporations, leveraging his deep understanding of the intricate relationship between finance, communications, government, and law. His background as a licensed investment banker further enriches his insight, having previously directed public finance operations across the southeastern U.S. for a prominent Wall Street firm.

In the political arena, Mr. Cunningham has advised prominent public figures, including mayors, governors, and a U.S. President, demonstrating his extensive reach and influence. As a licensed attorney and former deputy chief counsel to a major U.S. political party, he combines legal acumen with strategic communication skills, enabling clients to successfully navigate complex public issues.

Recognized for his contributions, Mr. Cunningham earned the Prudential-Davis Productivity Award from the State of Florida, honoring his impactful community engagement. He is also a distinguished Fellow of the British-American Project, fostering dialogue among influential leaders from the U.S. and Great Britain.

His civic leadership includes serving as Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Floridians for Better Transportation, and as a Trustee of the University of Florida, guiding strategic communications at the highest level. Most recently, Mr. Cunningham joined the Board of Advisors at UF’s Bob Graham Center for Public Service, further affirming his standing as a respected thought leader and registered professional with the Florida Bar.
